Concerns of the North East Coast Farmers

Road leading to cocoa fields in Mora Trace Cumana, Toco
Toco is an active farming and fishing village located in the North Eastern coast of Trinidad. Over the past three decades, farmers within this region has been plagued with the constraint of poor road networks and dilapidated bridges. This major challenge has drastically affected farmers accessing their farm lands and estates as road networks are often impassable,  Annually thousands of acres of banana, cocoa, and other crops are lost as farmers' crops cannot be transported out of inaccessible estates, thus resulting in lost of revenue.

This is one of the  bridges  farmers have to cross in Anglais road
